Why we make batches

Every jar comes from a batch: a single harvest, from a single reserve and a single bee species. It is more work than blending, and we do it for three reasons.

Know where your food comes from

The card on each jar carries a QR code. Scan it to see the bee species, the reserve, the month of harvest, and how many colonies and how much honey that batch gave.

Every harvest has its date

Each batch is a single harvest from a single place, and its flavour follows what bloomed in the forest during those weeks. That is why no two batches taste exactly alike: each is the honey of that place at that moment.

Transparency, including what we do not know yet

We show the real numbers, even when they are small, and we flag what is still to be confirmed, such as the identification of a species. Our genomic research aims to verify the origin and species of each honey.

Come taste that variation with us: follow the channel and hear about every new harvest. Your purchase supports the forest that produced that honey.
